These are some of the photos I took on location to quickly test out some ideas and generate new ones before taking my final shots.
This was my first idea but I didn't like how my model's head was facing away from the camera so I had to turn her head to face more towards the camera. |
Although this shot wasn't planned, I liked the way it came out. It's a really nice natural shot and it's really playful and fun. I would like to use this for my final image but I think the cup is covered up a bit too much.
I love this shot but I don't think I should use it as the model's face is too dark in this image as the sun was behind her. I tried to reposition her to do this shot again but the image never seemed to look the same as this one.
This is the photo of my trying to recreate the last shot, but I couldn't get the position right as if the sun was behind me this made the model squint and in other positions the sun created harsh shadows across the model's face. If I could I would try this again using a reflector or a flashgun to remove the harsh shadows.
The following photos I was trying to show the cup in use but all the images seem to look odd so I don't want to use any of these.
I was trying to make the cups fit in with the plants to try and creative twist and make them part of nature. The final photo shown I really like but I'm not sure it'll really fit in with what image I am trying to achieve to advertise the cups.
This is the photo I really like because of the angle used and the colours in the image, but for reasons I've already explained I won't be using it for my final image.
