Capture a Cup - Introduction

For this project we have two days to create a striking image for the Huhtamaki company which supplies cups. We have been given cups to work with which we must photograph in a way that could be used for the company's advertising purposes. We must create a minimum of 3 final images to submit to the company so within these photos I want to try 3 different styles of photos so I have the best opportunity to achieve what the company are looking for. At the moment I'm not sure what the company would be looking for so I plan to do research into the company and what similar companies have done such as Costa Coffee. I also want to experiment with working on location and in the studio. The company have given an 'on the go' project title so this suggests it would be best to show the cups in use and emphasize the fact that they can be used anywhere, but they are also looking for creativity so I will be experimenting with as many different ideas as possible.
